What TV advert drives you up the wall?

    Ok folks,

    What TV advert, past or present, drives you insane?

    Right now the one that makes me want to dive into the screen and wring his neck is Barry Scott's Cillit Bang advert. Any advert that shouts at me immediately gets my back up and I will go out of my way to avoid the product.

    Conversely, it seems to be all the rage right now to WHISPER adverts at you. The stupid woman with the false whisper should be banished to the same island as Barry Scott.

    I'm sure I'll come back with many more but those are the ones that drive me crazy right now. :)

    Oi not all Northerners are like that, lmao


    Them ones with debt consolidation annoy me, the ones where they interview members of the public to see what they think....but they just aint members of the public, its quite obviously all scripted and rehearsed, lol!!!

    all thise debt ads do my head in and the living channel during the day is awful for em ...if i'm watching tv during the day i spend half my time channel hopping to avoid them .....HATE EM !!! lol

    I'm not familiar with any of the ads you mention (obviously), but over here, the political ads drive me bonkers!

    Hey....that stuff looks great! I'd buy it!

    Over here we have a stupid ad campaign with cavemen. If the first one wasn't bad enough, they developed a whole series of them.

    And then there's this ad where a guy screams at you, trying to sell you these goofy wall hooks.

    TV commercials...well in general they don't ever really make sense...

    3 Rabbits are sitting on a log. One goes home and hangs himself...."Buy a Bike!"

    That's how I see most commercials now-a-days...they make no sense what so ever.
