Chat Rooms

When you click on Chat on the Navigation Bar below the scrolling Marquee, you will be taken to the default open chat room called The Lounge. Currently there are 4 open Chat Rooms: The Lounge, Bridge Talk, Grand Slam Chat and Double and Re-Double. The names of the open rooms can be changed if you have some creative suggestions. These four rooms are permanent. Remember that in all open rooms, everyone can see what is written.

To the right hand side of the screen is a listing of all the rooms. You can use the scroll down bar for each room to see who is in the open rooms. There are some interesting smilies that you can you use while you are chatting.

Changing Rooms. At the top of the chat box of the room you are in is a scroll down bar that will let you see all the open rooms. If you have been invited to a private room, this will show up on your screen. Persons who have not been invited will not see a listing for the private room. Click on the room you want to go to and you will be wisked magically to the room you have chosen.

Setting up another Chat Room - Public or Private. If you want to set up another Chat Room, click on the ADD button and a window will come up for you to list the name of the room. You will need to choose if it is to be Public (all can see the name and enter) or Private. If you choose to make your room private, then only those people that you invite will be able to see the room. You may also opt to apply a password if you wish. Remember that these are only temporary Chat Rooms - when everyone leaves the room, it will "disappear".

Do NOT change the room colors or font colors. This feature is not fully functional and it may cause you to not be able to see what is being written. Enjoy this new feature.
